EIO is an Investment Advisor that designs bespoke financial structures and strategies to achieve specific investor objectives. It is a Cross Asset Structuring business that works with both liquid and illiquid assets with a view to generating much greater value out of the underlying assets than can be typically obtained from the financial services industry. It advises a number of institutional and qualified investor entities globally which may have either single or multiple strategies in place with the firm at any one time. Typically a relationship commences when the investor starts with a financial issue or objective that the investor has thus far been unable to solve. EIO then partners with the investor to devise a solution by using a combination of platforms, structures and resources to deliver the best outcome to the original scope of work. EIO works across a wide range of financial disciplines and asset classes in order to design an overall package that is more attractive to the investor than what is generally available in the financial services industry, as it pieces together the most relevant and effective elements to find the optimal investor solution. The company’s mantra is “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts”. Most of the company’s investors undertake repeat transactions with the firm. EIO prefers to exchange illiquid asset classes, such as real estate, private companies, into large, liquid financial assets such as Fixed Income, Currencies, ETFs, equities, or vice versa etc. The performance of these investments typically gets enhanced through the use of leverage, technology (algorithms), or both. The EIO output is highly dependent on the initial objective but examples include funding for projects, or providing liquidity for complex UHNWI family structures in order that they can achieve financial independence.
